EL MONTE – A nonprofit organization and a local dental office teamed up Friday to provide free care to those in need.
Dentistry From The Heart, a group that works to provide free dental care to those who ordinarily may not be able to afford it, hosted the event from 6a.m. to 5p.m. at Mountain View Dental in El Monte.
About 60 patients were expected to be served. Patients had their choice of one free extraction, filling or cleaning.
